A. Andrews McCormack has been a part of the Smithereen team since 1981- starting out on the front lines chasing rats and killing cockroaches. Over the years Andy took the progressive steps up the chain of command – service supervisor, salesperson, retail products Manager, Vice President. He also took on the responsibilities of many of the support systems that keep a company going such as vehicles, technology, equipment acquisition, even employee benefits. He also has a hand in overseeing the acquisition of other Pest Control operations that Smithereen has done over the last 20 years.

Although, not a guy that you see out in the field too often, Andy maintains his IDPH pest control licenses in many categories along with his IDPH Food Sanitation Certificate.

Andy received his undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and has done graduate work in Business Management at the University of Illinois, Chicago.

Andy is married with three sons. His avocations include sailing and keeping up with his three sons activities. In his free time he walks his dog.
