Scott Seifert joined Smithereen in early 2010 as a Corporate Account Manager. He joined the sales team after a successful sales career with fortune 500 companies. Scott dedicates himself to providing turnkey solutions to any type of pest issue. Scott works diligently with current and prospective customers to develop comprehensive solutions to their wants and needs.
Scott earned his B.S. in Marketing from Aurora University graduating with honors while minoring in management.
Scott enjoys spending time with his family and enjoying the outdoors. He is also passionate about football, basketball and golf.


Emily Glasberg

Emily is a Corporate Account Manager at Smithereen Pest Management Services. She joined Smithereen's sales team in 2007, following a 6-year research career in the fields of Entomology and Ecology. Her knowledge of insect biology, pest management techniques, and inside sales experience has helped design pest control programs and establish relationships with new and existing clients.

Emily earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, graduating with highest honors in Biology and a minor in Economics.

Fascinated by insects and their adaptations to their environment, Emily worked as a Research Assistant at Muhlenberg College while pursing her degree. Emily completed graduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, earning a Master of Science in Entomology. While attending UIUC, Emily was a Graduate Research Assistant and a Teaching Assistant for the Departments of Entomology and Integrative Biology. Among other accomplishments, Emily authored two papers for publication, received the University of Illinois Excellence in Teaching Award, and was selected to participate in a two-month long research course through the Organization for Tropical Studies in Costa Rica.

An active naturalist, Emily has organized and participated in volunteer projects with a number of environmental organizations including the Sierra Club, Nature Conservancy, and Wildlands Conservancy. Emily currently holds memberships in the Entomological Society of America and in the Chicago Chapter of the U.S. Green Building Council.

Emily enjoys running, playing soccer, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.
