Jim Brucker started his pest management career on the mean streets of Chicago. After three years in the Hotel Industry (including training at the Echolls Hotel Training School) Jim started his climb up the corporate ladder as a technician for Anderson Pest Control in 1987. During his years at Anderson and also with Western Pest Control in California, Jim continued to focus on good service and quality customer care at every level. He brought these talents to Smithereen in 1998. And as Operations Manager, Jim continues to share these traits with his team every day.

Jim maintains his Illinois Department of Public Health Certifications in the following categories – General Core, Restricted Insects and Rodents, Birds and Fumigation. Jim also continues his personal training with coursework in Management and Sales.

Jim is married with two boys that have him coaching and watching a lot of Little League Baseball and youth basketball. But Jim’s true love is his exotic tarantula spider collection, which he enjoys sharing with elementary classes and youth groups.
